01 The short version

I collect the minimum I need to sell you a license, run the mod, power your dashboard, and keep it from being pirated. I don't sell your data, and I don't store your card details. If you post a vouch in the Discord, that one's public. Downloading or using the mod, or this website, means you accept this policy.

02 Who's responsible

BFM is run by one person (me), the operator and data controller. The clearest way to reach me about your data is the Discord, or by replying to the receipt email from your purchase.

03 What I collect

Account & identity

Your Minecraft username and UUID, your Discord ID and username, the email tied to your purchase, and any additional Minecraft accounts you choose to link to your license.

Device

A hardware identifier (HWID) derived from your machine, used to bind your license to your device and stop one purchase being shared across many people.

Payment

Payments run through Stripe. Stripe handles your card data, I receive a confirmation and limited billing metadata (like name, country, and the last digits), never your full card number.

License & usage

Your plan type and expiry, the mod version you run, and gameplay telemetry the mod reports, such as flips, profit, playtime, and which mode you used. This is what powers your dashboard and helps me improve the mod.

Vouches

If you post in the Discord vouch channel, your Discord display name, avatar, message text, and any screenshot you include are read and shown publicly (see section 5).

Technical & security

Basic connection data (such as your IP address when you contact the server) and anti-piracy signals used to detect cracking or tampering.

Cookies & local storage

The website uses a few cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember small preferences (like dismissing the cookie notice), and run your dashboard. I don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

04 How I use it

  • Issue, run, and enforce your license (including the HWID binding).
  • Show you your stats and account state on the dashboard.
  • Provide support and answer your messages.
  • Detect and block piracy, cracking, and abuse.
  • Display public vouches, and the community count, on the website.
  • Fix bugs and improve the mod.

Legal bases (EU/EEA): performing our contract (your license + dashboard), my legitimate interest (anti-piracy, improving the mod), your consent (posting a public vouch), and legal obligations (tax records).

05 Vouches & public display

Public by design

The vouch channel exists so people can publicly recommend BFM. If you post there, you're choosing to vouch in public. I may display your Discord name, avatar, message, and any screenshot you attach on this website and elsewhere I promote BFM. Don't post anything there you don't want shown publicly.

Changed your mind? Ask me in the Discord or by email and I'll remove your vouch from the site. The website's vouch feed also refreshes from Discord periodically, so deleting your message in Discord removes it from the site too.

06 Who I share it with

Only the services I need to run BFM:

  • Stripe, to take payments.
  • Discord, for login, the community, and vouches.
  • My hosting and CDN providers (for example DigitalOcean and Cloudflare), to run the servers and deliver files.

I do not sell your data, and I don't hand it to advertisers. I'll only ever disclose data if the law genuinely requires it.

07 How long I keep it

Account and license data is kept while your account exists and for as long as I need it for support, anti-piracy, and legal or tax records. Usage telemetry is kept to run your dashboard and improve the mod. Vouches stay up until you (or I) remove them. When data is no longer needed, I delete or anonymize it.

08 Your rights

If you're in the EU/EEA (and in many other places), you can ask me to:

  • See what I hold about you (access).
  • Correct anything wrong (rectification).
  • Delete your data (erasure), where I'm not required to keep it.
  • Restrict or object to certain uses.
  • Get a copy to take elsewhere (portability).
  • Withdraw consent, such as pulling a vouch, at any time.

Just message me and I'll handle it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority if you think I've got it wrong.

09 Security

Licenses are signed server-side, sensitive values are protected in transit, and access to the backend is restricted. I take reasonable steps to keep your data safe, but no system is perfectly secure, so I can't promise the impossible.

10 Age

BFM isn't intended for children under 16 (or the minimum digital-consent age where you live). If you're under that age, please don't buy or use it.

11 Changes & contact

If I change this policy I'll update the date above and, for anything significant, announce it in the Discord. For any privacy question or request, reach me in the Discord or reply to your purchase email.
